AGL Satellite Services Philippines, Inc. (AGL) is part of the ABS Satellite Group and is a Philippine subsidiary established in 2023 in compliance with DICT Department Circular No. 002, Series of 2021. AGL is the duly accredited Satellite System Provider or Operator (SSPO) for the ABS fleet and other satellite systems it shall be duly engaged with for the provision of satellite services into the Philippines. AGL is ABS’ arm to provide “Agility Beyond Space” in the Philippines.

The ABS fleet with coverage over the Philippines consists of the following geostationary satellites

ABS-2

The satellite features six dedicated high-powered Ku-band beams for DTH services in the Eastern Hemisphere and offers multiple options for Ku-band connectivity.

ABS-2A

Designed with 48 transponders and five dedicated high-performance Ku-band beams, ABS-2A provides satellite connectivity over the key markets.

ABS-6

Its extensive coverage brings affordable and reliable satellite connectivity to Northeast Asia and remote Pacific islands of underserved rural regions as-well-as outlying islands.​

Leveraging on ABS’ close collaboration with system integrators, VSAT systems and earth station equipment manufacturers, AGL provides a full range of ground services in the Philippines from design and construction to installation and commissioning of earth station facilities, be it VSAT hubs and gateways or remote user terminals.
